PECKHAM HOUSE
Recently featured in Elle Decoration UK, this project involved the meticulous refurbishment of a Grade II listed Victorian end-of-terrace home in the Holly Grove Conservation Area in Peckham, London.
The client's vision was to preserve the Victorian charm while integrating modern amenities, warmth, and abundant natural light. To achieve this, new large sliding doors were installed on the rear façade, replacing a small opening and creating a seamless connection to the garden while enhancing light and outlook.
In the loft, the ceiling was raised to the underside of the rafters, resulting in a spacious bedroom with an ensuite shower room on the second floor. The kitchen features highly bespoke joinery crafted from stainless steel, oak, and sapele timber, adding layers of tonal and textural variety.
A compact bathroom was ingeniously designed to include a large Japanese soaking tub for two, which also functions as a shower cubicle.
